Payouts and settlement
Payouts and settlement move completed, settleable merchant funds out. Depending on your business, some funds may be "paid but not yet withdrawable" due to protection windows, disputes, or operational review.
Understanding your balances
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Available balance | The amount you can withdraw right now |
| Pending settlement | Paid amounts still in a protection window, review, or settlement process |
| Withdrawn | Withdrawals you've initiated and completed |
Why paid funds aren't immediately withdrawable
Some orders must first clear fulfillment, a protection window, or dispute handling. This prevents funds from being withdrawn right after payment when a refund or manual intervention might still be needed.
Disputes and refunds
If a buyer opens a dispute within the protection window, settlement for that order is paused. When a dispute is upheld, the refund is normally processed along the original payment path:
- Returned on the original chain
- Returned in the original currency
- Returned to the original payer wallet address
Buyers never need to enter a new refund address anywhere.
